The room was spacious and comfortable, making us feel at home right away. The view overlooking the park and canal was a delightful surprise, perfect for those leisurely mornings. Access to bike rentals just around the corner made exploring the area seamless and fun!

No elevator for carrying luggage was a workout!!! Poorly designed storage options in the room contribute to clutter!!! Setting room temperatures at 20C feels unwelcoming for comfort!!! Beds need replacement for a better stay experience!!!

The culinary vibe nearby is buzzing, especially with Il Boccalino just a hop away—perfect for pasta lovers! Also, the staff was super kind and the WiFi was on point, making it easy to plan your next foodie adventure in Amsterdam.

While the stairs were a workout, the room could've used a serious facelift. It felt worn out and a bit dusty, making me wish it offered a more polished experience for the price. Still, I can't say it was the absolute worst. there’s potential!

No nonsense – just the truth

Charming little hotel in a superb location! Just steps away from the tram station and surrounded by delightful cafes and restaurants. Enjoyed peaceful walks in the nearby park. The staff were exceptionally helpful and communicative, accommodating my late arrival. Room was tidy and clean, truly reflecting Dutch hospitality.

the 'charming' narrow stairs make lugging your bags a workout, not that they bothered to mention a lift. after all that trouble, I expected a complimentary drink, but instead had to fuss over charging for coffee. if only they got that guests deserve better than a chilly room that looks like a storage unit, I'd have considered a good review.

The location offered easy access to central attractions and convenient dining options, including a nearby pub serving excellent breakfast. A pleasant surprise was having a balcony to relax on while the toddler napped. However, the room felt cramped, and additional storage would have been beneficial, particularly since there were limited hooks for belongings. Also, the absence of tea or coffee-making facilities was disappointing for the price paid. Despite a few shortcomings, the staff was friendly and attentive, which made for a welcoming atmosphere.
